Yeah, lecturers can make awesome slips, eh. One of mine in 3rd year was telling us about our research projects that we had to do for second semester (NZE) and was like, "and if you get real lucky, you might get published"
The mature student next to me went, "Thats what linguists call getting lucky?!" it was brilliant! Especially since we were in the front row and there were only 8 of us in the class :D
